I seem to be at my most unpopular when we are leaving the park. The other day ACE resorted to one of his favorite whines when he told me he wanted his dad. Clearly, his mom, who was insistently buckling him into immobility in his car seat, was not wanted. He followed this up with, "I still like HIM!"
Because I can read between the lines, I said, "Oh, so you don't like me, now?"
ACE, who is still sharpening his skills in diplomacy, answered, "I like you MOST times."

Kids are so funny. I will never forget when Ryan was little he decided I needed to buy him some toy at Target. I told him no, and put him in my cart to leave to toy section. He started crying hard and yelling, "you're not my mommy!" over and over. You should have seen the looks..on a side note no one stopped me from leaving with the kid yelling that I wasn't his mommy.
OH MY! That is one funny kid you have there! I would love to get all our kids together sometime. What a barrel of laughs that would be. . .
Cath! I love that story. I guess you just looked innocent.
Amy - I am so up for that... now if we just lived closer...
