After we came home from UT, my sister-in-law Katherine and kids came and stayed with us for a bit at the end of July. ACE and Abby were again best buddies - particularly because they were afraid of the big swimming pool. They hung out a lot in this baby pool Kat brought with her.
Mitch and Heidi also brought their kids up to swim and hang out. I believe we celebrated my nephew Ben's 12th birthday. It was a rare moment when my mom and dad had all of their grandkids together.
My mom made scones, which were a big hit with the grandkids. There's a recipe I need to put in the family cook book! Here are my nieces Madeline and Beth digging in.
